Vietnam's Hoa Phat Group said that it is currently accelerating the construction of the container production plant, which was expected to be officially put into operation in the fourth quarter of this year and trial production in the third quarter.
Hoa Phat Group has been planning the construction design since June 2021. However, due to the disruption of the fourth wave of the epidemic, the official start of construction was delayed until November 2021.
After the plant is completed, it is expected to produce 500,000 20' standard containers per year. By the end of 2023, it is expected to produce 200,000 20' standard containers annually.
