According to statistics from Thailand’s Customs, Thailand imported around 270,000 tons of steel billets this January, growing by 16.14% compared to the previous month and also hiking by 52% from the same month a year ago.
During the period, the largest supplier was Japan, supplying 60,000 tons of steel billets to Thailand. Oman and Ukraine exported 40,000 tons to Thailand, respectively.
