According to temporary statistics released by Joint Plant Committee (JPC), India, the second-largest steel producer in the world, produced around 9.19 million tons of crude steel in November, dropping by 3% compared to the previous month while rising by 2% from the same month a year ago.
In November, India’s apparent steel use totaled 8.468 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 3% and a year-on-year decline of 8%.
