Hoa Phat Group, a Vietnam-based steel producer and the largest steel manufacturer in Southeast Asia, exported 914,000 tons of construction steel in the first 11 months of this year, up by 90% compared to the same period a year ago. This figure was expected to exceed 1 million tons in 2021, accounting for nearly 30% of Hoa Phat’s sales.
In November, Hoa Phat exported more than 100,000 tons of construction steel to foreign countries, a year-on-year increase of 230%. The main export destinations included Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Cambodia.
