For 2022, Beijing will still prioritize stability in the national economy, which will be the precondition for any development, and this should also be the guideline in the country's macro-economic policy and monetary policy, and proactive fiscal policy will be maintained, according to the release about the meetings among the members of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on December 6.
The bureau is CPC's top decision-making body, and the Monday meeting among the members led by chairman Xi Jinping agreed that for next year, China will accelerate building up new development structure, drive the economic development via innovation and target at high-quality model.
Besides, the efforts should be continuing to improve livelihood of the citizens, to maintain stability in national economy, and to sustain economic growth at a reasonable range, according to the release.
For a healthy economy in the coming year, China's fiscal policy should centre on precision and sustainability, and monetary policy should be flexible and appropriate to provide reasonable and ample liquidity, and at the same time domestic demand should be further explored and expanded and consumption should be recovered further.
For 2022, China should also enhance the core competitiveness of the domestic manufacturing industry and the resilience of the supply chain in the various sectors, and as for the property market, the efforts should be continuing in increasing affordable housing to its citizens, and commercial housing is to meet the reasonable needs for living conditions among the buyers, and healthy development should be upheld.
