According to statistics from the German Steel Federation (WV Stahl), German crude steel output amounted to around 29.9 million tons in the first nine months of this year, increasing by 16.1% compared to the same period a year ago.
In September alone, this country’s crude steel output reached 3.34 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.7%.
German crude steel output continues increasing. However, due to the global supply chain problem and an increase in energy costs, the risk for the steel industry is increased as well.
