Turkish steel wire mesh manufacturer, BMS Steel Wire, planned to build a new plant in Aliaga/Izmir to increase its production capacity. After obtaining a building permit issued by the Aliaga Government, the company has begun construction of the new wire mesh and ribbed steel rolling mill.
At present, the company's existing five production lines currently have a wire mesh production capacity of 120,000 tons per year. The company indicated that with the start of this new production line, the company's total steel wire production capacity would increase by 17,000 tons annually.
In addition, the company would also build a solar power plant on the roof of an existing factory in Manisa, western Turkey to reduce its unit cost of electricity consumption.
