According to Australia Pilbara Ports Authority (PPA), port Hedland exported approximately 43.9 million tons of iron ore in August, going down by 0.8% from the previous month and 4.6% from the same period a year ago.
Among them, the exports to China were about 36 million tons, decreasing by 6.9% from last month and 10.5% year on year, followed by South Korea with 3.6 million tons and Japan with 2.8 million tons.
