According to the final determination made by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), hot-rolled steel flat products from Japan’s Nippon Steel Corporation (NSC) and Tokyo Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Steel) were being sold in the US market as prices lower than the fair value during the period of review from October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019.
The final weighted-average dumping margin for Nippon Steel was set at 11.7%, and that for Tokyo Steel was at 6.8%. All other Japan’s producers and exporters subject to this review received a rate of 10.95%.
Besides, Honda Trading Canada, Inc. (Honda), Panasonic Corporation (Panasonic), and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Mitsui) were found to have no shipments during the period of review.
