Taiwan’s Chung Hung Steel Corporation and Malaysia’s CSC Steel Holdings Berhad concluded a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advance low-carbon steel cooperation.
Chung Hung President Fu-Liang Wang and CSC Steel Malaysia Managing Director Chun-Yi Cho executed the agreement, establishing a partnership centered on green steel product development, applications, and market expansion.
The collaboration integrates group production advantages across China Steel Corporation (CSC) units, linking Dragon Steel’s steelmaking, Chung Hung’s hot rolling, and CSC Steel Malaysia’s cold rolling and galvanizing operations. By connecting these stages, both enterprises aim to convert low-carbon raw materials into competitive green products, supporting international carbon management trends and helping customers reduce supply chain emissions.
