According to an announcement published in the Turkish Government Gazette, the Turkish Ministry of Trade has issued its final ruling on the anti-dumping (AD) investigation into imports of cold-rolled (CR) flat steel (excluding annealed products), corrosion-resistant (galvanized) flat steel, and pre-painted flat steel products from China and South Korea.
The investigation covered the period from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. The authorities concluded that the subject products were being dumped into the Turkish market from China and South Korea, causing significant injury to the domestic industry.
As a result, beginning June 16, 2026, Turkey will impose AD duties for a period of five years. These duties will be applied at specific rates based on the CIF value, varying by producer and exporter: Chinese companies will face rates ranging from 22.37% to 32.40%, while South Korean companies will be subject to rates between 10.48% and 27.0%.
