Hadeed lifts Saudi rebar prices amid firmer demand

Saudi Arabia’s market setter, Jubail-based Hadeed, has increased its domestic 12-32mm diameter rebar (ASTM A615 Grade 60) prices by SAR 70/tonne ($6.6/t) month-on-month for January, taking them to SAR 2,190/t ($584/t).

The mill has meanwhile rolled over its December prices into January for 8-12mm rebar in coils and 6.5-14mm wire rod at SAR 2,270/t ($605/t), Kallanish confirms.

Prices are on a credit basis, either against a bank guarantee or deferred letter of credit, and are delivered nationwide.

The increase was anticipated. In fact, National Committee Steel Industry (NCSI) vice chairman and Al Ittefaq sales and marketing general manager Jassim Abbas tells Kallanish Saudi rebar demand in the fourth quarter of 2025 rose by 2-3% year-on-year, which is a good sign for rebar producers.
