Türkiye has imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty of 3.95% applicable to all exporters for five years on imports of cold-rolled stainless flat steel from China, according to the Official Gazette dated 27 December, Kallanish notes.
Indonesian imports were found to be dumped at a negligible level and not to have caused material injury to the domestic industry.
The measure applies to cold-rolled stainless products classified under codes 721931000000, 721932100000, 721932900000, 721933100000, 721933900000, 721934100000, 721934900000, 721935100000, 721935900000, 722020210011, 722020210012, 722020290011, 722020290012, 722020410011, 722020410012, 722020490011, 722020490012, 722020810011, 722020810012, 722020890011 and 722020890012.
The anti-dumping investigation was initiated following an application by domestic producer POSCO Assan TST Çelik Sanayi AŞ.
It has been criticised by import dependent Turkish stainless steel processors
