According to Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), Iran placed as the world’s tenth-largest steel producer in the first three-month of current year mentioning the data released by the World Steel Association (WSA).
Iran produced 7.5 million tons of crude steel in first quarter of 2021, recording a 10.7 percent value compared to the preceding year same time of span, the WSA’s data.
The Islamic Republic’s steel output reached 2.6 million tons in last month, recording a 10.7 percent increase annual.
The world’s top 64 steel makers led to produce 648.9 million tons of steel in the stated three months to record a 10 percent increase from the figure for the previous year same period, according to the mentioned data.
