Chinese high-end auto brand Wey is delivering its Coffee 01, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, to Germany.
On 23 November, 300 Coffee 01 models were loaded at the port in Shanghai and ready to be shipped to Europe. The unit selling price of this vehicle in Europe is EUR 55,900 ($58,241.77) to EUR 59,900, depending on configuration settings.
After being released at the Paris Auto Show and being delivered in Germany, Coffee 01 will gradually expand to markets in Sweden, Spain, Austria, and other European countries. Meanwhile, Coffee 02 will be on the market in 2023, starting from Belgium and France, Kallanish learns.
According to Great Wall Motor, Coffee 01 has The European New Car Assessment Programme's (E-NCAP's) five-star safety certificate and will provide comprehensively reliable and intelligent driving experience for users. This model also passed the 6d emission standards of Europe.
Under European standards, the car's mileage range is about 800 kilometres.
