Recently, Taiwanese companies have returned to build factories in Taiwan, so the demand for multi-core cables, and fire and heat-resistant wire products has increased. Taiwan’s Walsin Lihwa saw this business opportunity and decided to spend more than NT$9.1 billion building a factory in Yangmei District, Taiwan.
In the new plant, Walsin Lihwa will introduce IV and CV construction wires, fire and heat-resistant wires, CV multi-core cables, and other production lines.
Walsin Lihwa pointed out that in response to energy conservation and carbon reduction policies, the roof of the new plant will be equipped with solar photovoltaic equipment, and the public facilities will be at the IE3 level.
The factory is currently planned to be an intelligence factory. Land for building a new plant has been purchased, and the construction is expected to be completed and put into production in 2024.
