CSC’s revenue grows in Apr, with good outlook in Q2

China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest carbon steel manufacturer in Taiwan, reported that its consolidated revenue totaled NT$45.41 billion in April this year, hiking by 23.04% compared to the year-ago period, a single-month record high.

In the first four months of this year, CSC’s cumulative revenue reached around NT$160.62 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.22%.

Due to the strong demand in the international steel market amid the Russia-Ukraine war, the market is in short supply. Therefore, it was expected that CSC would raise its prices for June. The second quarter is the peak season for steel, which will help CSC to have stable profits.
