Industrial statistics revealed that China’s steel sector reported production growth in the first 11 months of 2020.
According to the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA),crude steel production increased 5.5 percent year on year to hit 961.16 million tons in the January-November period.
The CISA stated that the production of pig iron augmented 4.2 percent from a year earlier to 812.9 million tons throughout the period.
The association projected the country’s yearly production of crude steel to surpass 1 billion tons in 2020, representing year-on-year expansion of 3 to 5 percent.
