The new water treatment plant will complete the “JSC VSW Electric-Welded Pipe Workshop–1 project”
Following the order for heat treatment and finishing lines to be installed in the same plant located in the industrial zone of Vyksa, Russia, OMK has chosen Danieli water treatment technology to complete the project.
The new water treatment plant is designed according to a total water recycling concept.
In fact, in addition to open and closed cooling circuits, the plant features a dedicated treatment of river water and ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge).
Thanks to ZLD, the water savings for OMK will be about 85.000 m3/year of fresh water with a consistent reduction in plant OpEx.
Technology and economics make it possible to give water a second life.
