Posted on 26 July 2021

S&P Global Platts assessed Turkish exported rebar at $720/mt FOB Turkey on July 23, down $5/mt from July 22.

A Marmara-based mill reported an indicative tradable value at $720-$725/mt FOB Turkey.

A producer in the Iskenderun put a workable price range for 10,000 mt at $720-$725/mt FOB Turkey. According to a trader, the level $720/mt FOB Turkey was already achievable for a 10,000 mt cargo. A European buyer also estimated that $720/mt FOB was tradable.

No data was excluded from the assessment.

The above rationale applies to the Platts daily Turkish rebar assessment, with the associated market data code: STCBM00
