Strengthening Mechanisms in Microalloyed Martensitic Plate Steels

Posted on 10 October 2012

Capabilities for thermomechanical rolling of coiled products are now part of numerous high-speed rod mills throughout the world, incorporating equipment capacity for low-temperature rolling, watercooling units to enable the low temperatures, and temperature control systems for accuracy and consistency. The ability to produce concrete einforcing material with enhanced properties through thermomechanical processing is increasingly in demand, since alloying can be reduced with relative ease of processing.
