Brazil Rebar imports decline significantly in May

uring May of this year Rebar imports by Brazil was none, as per the trade ministry. While the same period a year ago imports was seen at 21508 mt.
During the period between January and May 2017, the rebar imports totaled at 4753 mt which when compared to the same period previous year it was seen to decline by 81.4 percent from 25594 mt.
In the medium of exchange, these imports declined by about 77.1 percent to $1.98 million FOB. Last year, total rebar imports in January-May were $8.67 million FOB.
