Scrap

-          Spain's ex-work scrap price down by 20-39 USD per tonne – source: SBB

-          Italian price fall by 13 USD per tonne, domestic price (heavy melting scrap) at 280-290 Euro per tonne, shredded scrap at 290-300 Euro per tonne. – source: SBB

Semi-finished steel prices

-          Korean origin to Vietnam at 580 USD per tonne last week– source: SBB

-          Taiwanese billet to Thailand at 580 USD per tonne last week, 585-590 USD per tonne to SE Asia this week, – source: SBB

-          Russia billet to Vietnam at 580-590 USD per tonne CFR, to Philippines and Thailand at 590-600 USD per tonne CFR – source: SBB

Rebar prices

-          Vietnam's domestic bar rose by 10-15 USD per tonne, effective 6 September, 10 mm and 12-25 mm plain bar up by 300,000 VND per tonne and debar price up by 300,000 VND per tonne – source: SBB

-          Taiwan's bar rose to NT$19,100 per tonne, up by NT$300 per tonne – source: Yieh

Hot rolled coil prices

-          Taiwan's Chung Hung Steel HRC price in September at 625 USD per tonne, may rise by 9.5 -15.8 USD per tonne in October – source: SBB

-          Russia offer for October of HRC at 630 – 635 USD per tonne FOB last week, Severstal offer at 625 USD per tonne, FOB – source: MB

-          Shanghai's HRC- 2.75 mm Q235 HRC at 4,320 RMB per tonne, down by RMB 90 per tonne, 4.75-11.5 mm Q235 HRC at 4,230 RMB per tonne, 4.5-11.5 mm Q345 HRC at 4.320 RMB per tonne, down by RMB 100 – Source: Yieh.
