Scrap

-          Offers of HMS 1&2 ((80:20 mix) in containers from Europe, Middle East and Africa up to 385-405 USD per tonne CFR to Southeast Asia – source: MB

-          Offers from USA for Shredded at 400 USD per tonne, and for HMS 1&2 80:20 at 395 USD per tonne to Turkey, EU suppliers offer HMS 1&2 80:20 at 390 USD per tonne CFR Turkey – source: SBB

-          China's mill buy scrap at RMB 3,200 per tonne, up by 50-70 RMB – source: MB

-          US exporters quoted new price of HMS 1&2 (80:20 mix) at 410 USD per tonne CFR main China port, while Japanese supplier quoted at 360 USD per tonne – source: MB

Semi-finished steel prices

-          Billet offers into Southeast Asia up $10-20 to 580-590 USD per tonne CFR from Malyasia, Taiwan, Russia and the rest of CIS – source: MB

-          Tangshan's billet prices increase by RMB100 to 4,180 RMB per tonne ($630) for 150x150 mm Q235 – source: SBB

Bar prices

-          European mills increased local rebar price to Euro 430-450 per tonne ($592-606) – source: MB

-          Shanghai's May SHFE rebar price down to 4,770 RMB per tonne ($718) – source: MB

-          Taiwan's rebar price dropped to NTD 18,500 per tonne ($613) – source: Yieh

Hot rolled coil prices

-          Shanghai January SSEC HRC price fell by 45 RMB per tonne to 4,435 RMB per tonne –source: MB

-          China's HRC for electronic market priced up RMB 40-50 per tonne – source: Yieh
