Scrap

-          European recycler sold shredded and HMS 1&2 (90:10 mix) at 394.5 USD per tonne – source: MB

-          Turkish mills buy HMS 1&2 (80:20 mix) and shredded scrap from USA at 390 USD per tonne CFR – source: MB

-          Japan's domestic scrap price up to 399 USD per tonne (No. 2 scrap) – source: Yieh

-          Japan's domestic scrap price up to 399 USD per tonne (No. 2 scrap) – source: Yieh

Semi-finished steel prices

-          Northern China billet price started to fall again by $8 per tonne to 610 USD per tonne for 150x150 Q235 billets, with VAT on a cash-payment basis – source: SBB

-          CIS billet export at 565-570 USD per tonne FOB Black Sea –source: SBB

Bar prices

-          Vietnam lifted deformed bar price to 14.57-15.27 million VND per tonne, exclude 10% VAT – source: SBB

Hot rolled coil prices

-          Russian mils lower HRC price FOB Black Sea to 595-605 USD per tonne for December production – source: MB

-          Chinese origin HRC to South Korea at 613-615 USD per tonne CFR, oversea origin HRC to South Korea at 681 USD per tonne, while locally produced HRC is 743 USD per tonne –source: MB
