Scrap

-          Turkish mills booked HMS 1&2 80:20, shredded scrap and HMS1 from Norway at 492-497 USD per tonne CFR, US-origin cargoes of HMS 1&2 80:20, shredded and bonus scrap were sold at 495-505 USD per tonne CFR – source: SBB

-          US shredded scrap price currently is reported at 470-480 USD per tonne (Nucor) – source: SBB

Semi-finished steel prices

-          Billet offer in Turkey up to 680-685 USD per tonne FOB – source: SBB

-          Brazilian mills raised billet export price by $40 to 700 USD per tonne CFR – source: SBB

-          Thai domestic billet price from the induction furnace mills are listed at THB 20,000 and from EAF mills THB 20,500 per tonne – source: SBB

Bar

-          Turkish mills are quoting new offer of rebar at 700 -710 USD per tonne FOB – source: SBB

-          Thai rebar producers planned to raise price by THB500 ($16) to THB 22,000 per tonne – source: SBB

-          China's steelmakers increased deformed bar by RMB 100-200 per tonne for February delivery – source: Yieh

Hot rolled coil prices

-          Nippon Steel raised HRC price by $61 for spot contracts. Its list price for commodity grade HRC to Yen 80,000 – 85,000 per tonne ($976-1,037) – source: SBB
