-          South Korea's Hyundai Steel has made a bid of JPY38,000 per tonne FOB for No.2 HMS, JPY 40,500 per tonne for P&S Steel scrap and JPY 41,000 per tonne for Shindachi (high grade material) – source: Steelguru

-          Russian domestic scrap rose by more than 10% since December. Today prices range from 10,500 – 11,700 Rubles per tonne ($350-400) – source: SBB

-          EU scrap offer prices fell by $10 per tonne to $475 per tonne CFR for HMS 1&2 80:20 – source: SBB


-          Philippines traders booked billet from Russia at $655 per tonne CFR, from Korea at $685 per tonne CFR – source: SBB

-          Malaysia and Thai mills export billet at $680-690 per tonne FOB – source: SBB


-          Turkish rebar exporters reduce offer prices to $680-690 per tonne CFR min gulf port – source: MB

-          Rebar market prices in Tokyo and Osaka rose by Yen63,000 – 64,000 per tonne – source: SBB

-          The base price for rebar in northern Italy fell slightly by Euro10 per tonne to Euro 320-340 per tonne ($437-464) ex works – source: SBB
